My Journey
Starting as an Assistant Professor, I faced the complexities of the tenure track while balancing the demands of academia. Securing an NSF CAREER Award was transformative for my research and career. Unlike many peers, I did not earn my Ph.D. in the U.S., which meant I had to learn the U.S. research system from the ground up. This experience gave me a unique perspective on navigating these systems and their expectations. Now, as an Associate Professor, I am here to help you navigate your own journey with insight and empathy.
My Goal
I believe the key to a sustainable academic career is the quiet, deliberate work of aligning what you do with who you are becoming. My goal is to help you build a tenure trajectory that succeeds on the metrics that matter and sustains the scholar you actually want to be.
The Invitation
You came into academia for reasons that matter to you. Somewhere on the tenure track, those reasons can get harder to remember. The path I walked is one I now share, as a companion who has been where you are, so the years you spend earning tenure also build the career you actually want to live.
