When I started as an Assistant Professor in the U.S., I was navigating a completely new system. The process of deciphering the 'proposal writing game' felt overwhelming, and I often struggled to figure out what was expected. But through persistence, learning, and refining my approach, everything changed.

Now, my proposal success rate has soared, and I’m proud to be an NSF CAREER Awardee, a Cottrell Scholar, and a Scialog Fellow with the Research Corporation for Science Advancement. Alongside these achievements, I’ve secured additional funding that has fueled my lab’s growth and impact.

As a two-time invited speaker at the ASEE NSF CAREER Proposal Workshop, I’ve had the privilege of guiding early-career faculty across the country, sharing strategies to overcome challenges and succeed in academia.
